Maple Poppy Seed Vinaigrette

½ cup olive oil

¼ cup apple cider vinegar

1/8 -1/4 cup maple syrup
1 packet stevia (optional)
½ tablespoon “Jane’s Krazy Salt” or season salt
1 ½ teaspoon poppy seeds
1 green onion sliced
¼ cup coconut milk (from the can) or plain yogurt – optional if you like it creamy
Mix all the ingredients together in a mason jar and shake well. Can be stored on the counter for 2 weeks (in the refrigerator if added milk or yogurt).

YOU are controlling the ingredients in this dressing, there is no refined sugar or hydrogenated oils like many purchased brands. I got the original recipe from my friend and modified it a little to suit my families taste. It’s also great without the poppy seeds, onions and coconut milk. Now these are only dressing my kids like.
