Over the Top Crock Pot Chili

2 pounds ground turkey or beef

1 onion, diced
3 cloves garlic
1 red pepper, diced
1 green pepper, diced
1 cup carrots, diced
1 cup celery, diced
1 jalapeño, diced
2 - 14 ounce cans Muir Glen organic tomatoes
1/3 cup sundried tomatoes 
3 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon oregano1 tablespoon basil
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon pepper


Brown the meat, onions and garlic in a medium pan. Once the meat is cooked. add to crock pot with all other ingredients. Cook on low for 8-12 hours or high for 3-5 hours. Serve with chopped bacon, avocado or sour cream.

Why I like this: It’s getting cold outside and this will warm you family without a lot of work. It’s loaded with vegetables and a great base for healthy fats like bacon, avocado or sour cream.
