Maple Nut Chocolate Protein Shake

Ingredients: 

1 serving protein powder

2 teaspoons maple syrup

1 tablespoon almond butter

¼ teaspoon almond extract (optional)

1 packet stevia (optional)

1 cup almond milk or water

½ cup ice

Directions: 
Blend ingredients in a blender until smooth and serve!

Why I like this: it tastes great and has healthy fat and protein from the almond butter and lots of easily digested protein from the protein powder. I really like Biotics whey protein powder. Their product is from grass fed cows and low temperature processed to maximize the integrity of the product. Whey has the highest protein efficiency ratio of all protein sources and whey helps with detoxification because it helps increase production of glutathione.
